Writing Workshop dates and times
Do you aspire to being an author one day?
Are you considering entering the Ronald Hugh Morrieson Literary Awards 2010?
If so here is your opportunity to learn from a published author.
Four writing workshops will be held in July in conjunction with the Ronald Hugh Morrieson Literary Awards run by the South Taranaki District Council.
The workshops are free to attend and are open to all residents and ratepayers of Taranaki who are eligible to enter the Awards. However numbers are limited to 25 per session so it is important to contact your local libraryplus to reserve a place.
Three secondary school sessions will be held on:
Tuesday, 27 July 2010, 10 am, at St Mary’s Diocesan School Library, Stratford
1.30pm, at Hawera LibraryPlus, Hawera
Wednesday, 28 July 2010, 10 am, at Opunake LibraryPlus, Opunake
A public session will be held on:
Wednesday, 28 July 2010, 1.30pm at Hawera LibraryPlus, Hawera
The workshops are 90 minutes long. Participants need to come armed with pen and paper - and also a short piece of their own writing; preferably, a snippet from their own experience.
